Sometimes a piece comes out exactly like you plan

Sometimes a piece comes out totally differently than you expected.

  1. So pretty! And I agree, things do have a way of doing what they want. When I put a bead in the kiln, sometimes it morphs so much I can't even remember what color glass I had used!

  2. I've been using a combination of low fire under glazes with raku glazes on top and getting some really nice colors. I'm always getting yelled at by other local potters because I don't keep a glaze journal so I can't always remember what I've done so anyone (including myself) could reproduce the color.
